Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, 'other ranks' late 1970s & early '80s. They also wore light grey work uniforms that were similar to most nurse's uniforms.

QARANCs, met a few of them over the years. ;) :) Their female accommodation blocks and messes were generally Out Of Bounds to male personnel, however 'where there's a will.........'. :D

Matrons' (Commissioned) ward uniform of the the same period was almost Victorian in its splendour. :tu

Yes, the officers (sisters) had darker grey ward dresses with red capes and big flat white hats made in a kind of folded-over double layer. I have a couple of books about the QARANCs. This video on YouTube is currently my favorite film (for personal reasons):
