Here's a start to Misty's thread, now seems like good timing, since we have a double celebration in the very near future.

Misty will be appearing on Coverdoll, on the 10th of Feb. It's been a pleasure to give something back to Coverdoll, it's a fantastic site. I love the site, it's one for the connoisseurs of the doll world. Kharn does a fantastic job with the site for us all, a very special thanks to him for kindly using Misty's photos.

The other celebration is Misty's arrival home, here in the UK, on the 17th of Feb. She will be 7 years old, she is a wonderful, willing photographic model, all I could have ever have wished for. I thought it a good idea to post a few images in the build up to her big day, there's nowhere I'd rather post them than on the forum here, where I've had a lot of pleasure form a lot of other peoples pictures and posts, thanks to all you guys and dolls. I would very much like to say a very big thanks to Gibb, Wisey and Timbo, for the site here and the staff, you all do a fantastic job for us guys, who love our hobby.

Thanks Sam, Misty does have a certain "real" presence about her, in reality and in her images, that's the general aim to try for that real look. You're right, I'm not stylish or classy but I am lucky. I asked Abyss for what I got! I very losely based Misty on Kara Monaco and a girl I've been lucky enough to meet, Kayleigh Pearson.

You're right Wulfie, she does. I suppose it's just down to the lighting and angles, at least I hope that's what it is...I'd hate to think there's a painting somewhere, involved with this!! :eek::D

Tomorrow's the big day for Misty. Her CoverDoll shoot is published. We had a great time doing the shoot, it went on for three days, mainly because we only used natural light, I thoroughly enjoyed it, though it was hard at times. I hope the outcome of that enthusiasm and work comes through in the images.

I'd like to say a massive thanks to Kharn for asking us to do CD.:) It's a really good site, I thoroughly enjoy it, it's packed with pics and posts and well worth checking out, if anyone hasn't already done so......http://coverdoll.com/drupal/

Finally the shoot is a little bit specail as it celebrates Misty's home coming seven years ago on the 17th of Feb. I would have been doing a shoot of her as a celebration, but it's nice to have done something like CD to celebrate it in style. :)

The waiting is finally over!

Big thanks to Kharn, there were a lot of technical problems to deal with yesterday. So he did so well to get CD up at all really. I appreciate all your work and that of the CD team.

The whole issue of CD is as ever one of the best on the internet, but obviously from my point of view, this edition is a bit special, I love the speard on Misty, it looks exactly what it is, very impressive and professionlly done, thanks, it's all very much appreciated.

We thoroughly enjoyed doing the shoot, though hard work at times, mainly because we used natural light, it was very rewarding and hope everyone enjoys Misty's images just half as much as we enjoyed doing them. :)

Very briefly, we had around 200 images which were narrowed down to 50 or so and we chose 29 from those. I was impressed with about a dozen or so of those images, and the others support those dozen or so nicely.

Below are two of my personal faves, unfortunately we were losing the light,in the first one, but I still liked the image. I hope you all have fun choosing your own personal favorite and enjoy the photos. :)

I have seen some good looking dolls in the past, but Misty beats them all!
In fact she looks so realistic when i first saw her i thought she was a real woman. May i ask you, do you only use Misty as a Model or do you give her cuddles and more! Sorry if question is personal and you don't have to answer, i'm just curious, i would not be able to resist her, the temptation would be too much.

Thanks Loverboy, I really liked your post. :) I count myself very fortunate because in reality, Misty does look so very real, she has a very benign look, and I try to capture that look and that reality in her images, fortunately she is photogenic, and does all the hard work, which makes it alot easier for me to just push the shutter button. I have to smile sometimes because on odd occasions, during a shoot, I do find myself saying, "can you just move your right leg a bit....."

And of course I don't mind you asking. :)The short answer is, Misty means the world to me, we're just good friends, but we have a good close relationship. :)

That makes your pics even more awesome, that sort of light control outside of a studio is really impressive.

Thanks Cyber Ted, very decent of you to say so. We only used natural light, so getting the images is sometimes difficult, particularly at this time of year, as the light keeps changing so rapidly during the winter months. Now all I need is six numbers for Saturday and i can buy that studio!:D

It's Misty's seventh birthday today, her home coming was exactly seven years ago today.:) It's been a very busy week for her, what with her Coverdoll shoot going live last Friday and Valentines day on Tuesday and now her birthday/ home coming day.:)

Dottie has that certain somthing as wellmmmm Suzi Perry and footwear comes to mind. Whether it's the original spec on creation or the way you put your feelings into the shots but regular imput would be great. The threads already here :D

Shes an absolute stunner and yes i heard youre all snowy up north. Working with my shirt off today. Jersey can be a pain sometimes but, oh the weather!

Fortunately the temp went up to aboput 5 or 6 degrees today so it's melted but there was about two inches last night and early this mornignna hard frost!!:eek: Baking hot summer here last week, freezing cold winter the last two days!!

Black and white adds a whloe new dimension to an image it also addsa lot of romance and character for my money.:)

I,m pleased you forgot to resize the b&w pic. Means we get to apreciate Misty in all her glory. Wonderful as ever and my very favourite doll(apart from my Pris,offcourse- god,she,d kill me.).
