I've been thinking of getting a love doll. I'm not really going to be much of a collector. In fact, most of what I collect are regular plushies, as in safe for kids, and most recently anime figurines, like Freeing's stuff, and the Ex Cute dolls(part of the Pure Neemo family).

So now I've got a couple decisions on what I want to save up money for. Ha ha! I'm really kind of lost. I've been eyeballing a couple of the Dekunoboo dolls on Kanojo Toys, especially Yukachan and Honoka. These dolls look more attainable than the ultra realistic, silicone skin dolls for thousands of dollars. Honoka looks more well put together and much cuter than Yukachan, but she doesn't come with clothes or an insert. Kanojo Toys also doesn't mention if Yukachan comes with clothes. I like how Honoka actually has a belly button, but she's a little bit pricier than Yuka or her cousin Hinachan.

On the other hand, I've just recently discovered the Harumi Designs dolls, also on sale at Modern Count, and I've been eyeballing the lolicon dolls there. The website of the main manufacturer mentions these dolls are made with a type of foam that simulates the feeling of skin and reflects warmth back on the user. I also like how these dolls seem to be more realistic and don't have as many visible seams than the Dekunoboo dolls. I also like the idea of the "concealed insert". However, Modern Count's shipping prices seem to be higher than Kanojo Toys.

So I was wondering if anybody has experience with these dolls and what he would recommend. What are the Dekunoboo dolls made of and how does this material compare with the Harumi Designs dolls?

Also, just for fun, I'm also trying to save up money for one of the Tokyo Dolls seamless dolls.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry but I haven't a clue on answering your questions except for the last. Hopefully someone will pop up and assist you. On the latter I assume that you mean the Art Tokio 60cm dolls. I read somewhere that they have stopped using a skeleton just wire or vice versa but which ever that they are static pose dolls not recommended for a lot of use. I have no idea if they are a sexdoll, my only interest was photographic. If I'm wrong hopefully someone will say so. One 1/6 I've looked at for a long time is the Hot Stuff Action figure, that coupled with a ''1/6 12" HOT TOYS RESIDENT EVIL AFTERLIFE ALICE MILLA JOVOVICH HEAD '' would be ace but the price tag........ Cosy is the 'knowledge' on small girls here, so wait hopefully he'll have imput for you.

I think Arte Tokio became these guys: http://www.tokyodoll.biz/ The dolls sure do look poseable to me. And I like that the website is in English.

Oh yeah. Another piece of info about me. I don't live in UK or even Europe. I'm actually American. I used to have a dual citizenship with England, though.

You beat me to it, I was going to suggest Dollstory but your side of the pond, is it dolljunk or some similar name that stocks them?

hi pmc - Yay! Sounds super cool. There are more than a few "crossover" members on here - who appreciate the 'little uns' as well (or as much) as the full size anatomically-correct girls.
Please feel free to add comments and info and links to other threads (especially adult miniature dolls)

Wulfie is too kind. I'm still finding my way and catching up on new little uns, so all info and experience is much appreciated.

So, as for a full-size girl....

Obviously, I will give a big vote for Teddy Babes! :)

You might want to look at beautiful dolls. She supplies very good plush girls from China. I'm sure she can help you.

Also, there's a new supplier - Doll Sweet

No reviews yet, but seem like an authentic supplier.

HTH :)

Hi pmcollectorboy,

The more members the better. I still feel a guest in the house of a great host, so I don't say welcome, but nice to meet.

I think Arte Tokio became these guys: http://www.tokyodoll.biz/ The dolls sure do look poseable to me. And I like that the website is in English.

Arte Tokyo (http://www.artetokio.com/english/) and Tokyo Doll (http://www.tokyodoll.biz/) are different companies, but there is a relation. Neither of them makes or made sex dolls. Dollstory (http://www.dollstory-mini.eu/) imported Arte Tokyo until Arte Tokyo stopped two years ago. Dollstory is now reseller of Tokyo Doll. But Arte Tokyo made a new start, supported by DS Doll (http://www.dsdoll.com/dsdoll/index.html). Click the Japanese button on their homepage and you'll see what I mean. They aren't available (yet?) outside Japan or China.
Cosy mentioned DS Doll too. The loli models of them are no sex dolls, but DS Doll itself is clear enough on that account.

Dekunoboo dolls are made of fabric, but it's no problem if they become a bit wet; the fabric can have it. Harumi dolls are made of polyurethane foam and the cheaper ones have no skin at all, so it's a problem if such a doll becomes wet.
The Dekunoboo dolls have no skeletons. The cheaper Harumi dolls haven't either. So they are floppy, but in a different way. I owned a Dekunoboo doll once and I didn't mind that it was floppy; actually it was a human-shaped pillow, stuffed rather firmly. Silicone without skeleton or polyurethane foam without skeleton is more the floppiness of jelly pudding.

Well, I'd echo what Loverboy says. Ok so Teddy Babes don't "look" 100% anatomically correct - they are characatures really ..They are great fun from that point of view.
BUT.... they feel absolutely incredible,; warm, cuddly and utterly loveable.
It all depends on what you want .. a cold sex object or a warm "love" doll.

Kat isn't so bad looking anyway!
