I never thought it would happen but today I picked up my first Realdoll, and she's rather special. :) She's Kharn's Sabrina, a Body 2, head 4 and what makes her special is that according to the Doll Matrix on TDF she was delivered in October 1998, making her possibly the oldest RD still around.

Being such an early model she doesn't have a poseable skeleton or finger wires so she's rather floppy and can only sit or lie down for photos. I'm sure I'll get used to the weight but luckily I still have my Mum's wheelchair which helped getting her in the house.

Although she is showing her age in places its clear that Kharn has taken good care of her over the years. The silicone is lovely and soft and she has great legs, I had to keep stroking her thigh on the way home. :D

Her boobs are nice and soft too. :D

I should be able to have a better look at her in the next day or two and take some more pics. I'd like to thank to Kharn for giving me the opportunity to look after what I consider an important piece of doll history.

That has to be some kind of record, 14yrs, that does make her very special but not a museum piece whilst there is still somebody to love her and Bigbear, I believe she's home. Looking forward to seeing more of this lady who paved the way to what we now take for granted.:)

Brilliant news, it couldn't of happened to a nicer guy.:) well pleased for you Ursa.:) Sabrina looks so stunning, and thanks for her pics, I'm sure your're both going to be really happy together, she couldn't have found a better home.:)

Kharn's done a wonderful job looking after her, and you now have a girl that looks so good especially for her age, not to mention a place in doll history. Thanks and looking forward to more of her pics when you get the time.:)

She's a nice looking doll! I'm sure both of you will have fun together!
She must be the oldest doll on the forum! Good luck to you both!

Firstly a big congratulations Ursa_Major is was nice seeing you again yesterday.

I'm glad your happy with Sabrina and that she has gone to a good home. She is probably one of the oldest RD's in the world outside of Abyss. She has a few marks but for a 14 year old doll, well I think as you can see from the photos, she has stood the test of time ;)

You now have a piece of doll history. :)

Here she is as Wonder Woman back in 2000

Once we get the old archive back up you can link to her old photos from way back before TDF. Back in the days of the Realdoll Owners & Lover Club. In the meantime, here's a blast from the past of her 2002 appearance in CoverDoll.

The Wonder Woman costume is great and those shots in that gold dress are fantastic, gives Sabrina a really hot sultry air. Beautiful. Looking forward to more from Bigbear.

Thanks for the comments guys. I seem to have formed an emotional bond with her already as I missed her when I was at work today. When I got home I carried her from one room to the other for the first time which I was pleased with as in the morning I'd moved her in the wheelchair.

I decided it was time for her to have a new look as although the wig she came with brushed better than any wig I've had before I thought it looked a bit old fashioned so I tried Lois's wig on her. I decided to change her outfit too as when I was sitting in my chair, every time I looked across at her she was flashing her knickers at me. :D (Maybe she was trying to tell me something.)

I found a blouse and skirt for her and took her dress off. As she doesn't have a neck hook this was hard work and we had to have a break half way through. :D

She might be getting on a bit but she's still got it. :D

After a break during which I gave her a quick once over it was time to get her dressed. This was even harder than getting her undressed and by the time I'd finished I was hot, sweaty and out of breath. She does look nice in her new outfit so it was worth it.

She looked a bit tired too.

I have to say that since Sabrina has been with me I've gained an insight into how much work goes into the setting up of photoshoots with silicone dolls, especially those with multiple dolls.

The only problem I have now is I keep wondering what a new RD would be like compared to Sabrina. :)

That wig makes an amazing difference. Having a neckeye and skeleton does really make 'hanging up' a bonus for dressing so Sabrina must have been a handful.
My small 'offerings' with Agnetha takes time and planning which is tiring and on a lot of extended movements there is the risk of damage, fingerpokes ect. so I can only imagine a multidoll shoot as like running a marathon.
Instead of a Realdoll I'd want a Wicked or a Sinth :)

Thanks for the pics Ursa, happy to see Sabrina, and nice to see her all settled in.:) Agree with Wulfie that's an ace wig and makes a big difference.:)

The wig does make a difference to her. The one she arrived in, while good quality, did remind me of something from the '60s or '70s.

I noticed this morning that one of her fingers was damaged, probably during the change of clothes. :( I don't want to risk making the damage worse so there may not be any new pics until she's repaired.

I think a repair kit will be on the cards in the very near future as I want to keep her in as good a condition as possible.

Congrats on getting Sabrina, she does have beautiful eyes and looks to be in great condition but i would expect nothing less from one of Kharn's dolls :p, yeah i here you regarding the wieght, i can barley life Nat let alone carry her.:o

Would she not be able to sit on the stand you have

Duno just thinking aloud.

Happy Honeymoon. :D

Bad luck with the finger Ursa. but if it's a poke, then it's an easy fix and also working on the theory of prevention better than the cure, it's a good idea to pop a pair of mittens. or even socks over her fingers when you dress her. :) I hope you get her all fixed up soon, so we get to see more pics.;):)

It isn't a poke, it looks like it's been cut at the base. Presumably it just needs sticking back together but I'm not sure what to use.

Not good, but I doubt it's the end of the world Ursa.:) Email Abyss and see what they recomend, is about the best I can think of. ;)They should have something for an older doll, or recomend something that'll do the trick. Good luck.:)

Hi Ursa, You need to get some silicone glue from Abyss. The new glue will stick both the tin and the platinum. :) You might as well get a new medium skin repair kit at the same time (save on postage). Let them know that she is a pr 2000 doll;)

Hi Kharn, I'd been thinking of doing that.

Good to see Sabrina going to a good caring home.
Going back a very long way Sabrinas photos by Kharn amongst others got me interested in RD 's.

As for repairs I have just found someone in the UK selling large and small tubes of Sil Poxy glue on Ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230780849423?var=530054680534&ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649
( dated 5 May 2012 so will not be there forever)

Lot cheaper than from the States , hope that helps.

And if I remember correctly if stored in the fridge or freezer it will last longer once opened.

Good luck with the repairs.
