Ex-Lite

I've had my Ex-Lite for a couple of months now, so it's really about time I posted some pics.

To be honest, I bought her more out of curiosity and was never a fan of the Kayla face, but seeing her in the flesh as it were, she is simply stunning. The photos do not do her justice. She's fantastic to photograph and so easy to dress and pose. And at 163cm, finding clothes that fit is much easier than my 140WM.

But seriously i did have my reservations on this doll but seeing gdj67 young lady in person changed my mind, they are much better looking in person :drool though i would like to see more heads avaliable in the future.

On new heads, don't know if you have seen the new DS Doll re worked site, where you see the tab for Ex Lite it does say Ex Lites :) I know Kayla CE head will be coming very soon, as for different body types and heads, I think it's only a matter of time, this product is selling exceptionally well, hard to believe it was only launched in Dec, time does fly.

AAA+ photos, I'm creating an owners wall on my .com and .co.uk site so anyone who wants to send Ex Doll photos I would be happy to give them pride of place.

This ones a keeper, she's stunning.

.....and for those that have been PMing me about playtime, lets just say that slow and gentle are the watch words. Treat her like a lady and she'll love you back. Yes she loves dressing up provocatively, but she's not a slut and I'd never treat her like one.

If you like it rough, get a silicone or TPE doll. Fortunately I have both so I have the best of both worlds, especially as Kayla likes to watch :whistle:

Ok, second photo shoot of the night..........I couldn't do that with my other dolls. About a 10th of the time changing outfits and even less in getting the poses tweaked so they are just right. Admittedly she doesn't have the range of movement that TPE dolls have, but then again I'm not gonna be practicing my Shibari skills on her.

Anyway, here's the latest shots with the new CE Kayla head. Thanks to Paul at Cloud Climax for getting her to me so quickly, and wow! she's even better than I'd hoped. The make up is subtle and she has lovely eye lashes which add more realism to the photos than my previous efforts. I had big reservations on this doll and was not too keen on the head, two things which have now been blown out of the water. Simply stunning especially the black and whites.

Although I prefer Kayla as a Blonde, she certainly suits the black hair in this shoot. It gives her a completely different personality, I like to think of her as Kayla's kinky twin sister :whistle:

Mini -Photoshoot: PVC Corset (Part 1, lights off)

Arrived home from work last night to find Kayla waiting for me with the lights dimmed low. Looks like she's taken a leaf out of her twin sister's book!

The PVC corset is a size 22 which fits Kayla perfectly (she has a 23" waist)
The black patent boots are a UK size 3 (another ebay find and they fit well)

Playing around with the settings on my camera to see what it can do inside without a flash just using the ceiling light and a desk lamp for fill.

Pretty impressive results. The first image is straight our of the camera, no editing what so ever, the next two, i just made minor corrections to the brightness on my tablet. No lightroom or photoshop. I still cant believe the results!

Test Shoot: Halloween Angel

Canon 700D with a Sigma DC 17-70mm lens set at 4.5f
ISO 6400 with White Balance set to Tungsten
Av Aperture Priority mode with spot metering which gave a shutter speed of 1/80
I shot all the pics in monocrome hand held without a tripod.

Photo shoot: Elven Angel
Here's the first set of angelic Kayla hoping to fight off some of the evil halloween spirits going around.

The costume is made from bits and pieces I had lying around, except for the wings which I got secondhand from a model that had used them for her own photoshoot.
The chocker and stocking tops are actually wedding belts picked up for £1 each in a charity shop.
The thong is made from a long necklace from Primark with a feather hair piece clipped to the front.
The shoes are a size 3 from Quiz.

Thanks Minato, they didn't turn out quite as I'd expected. I was hoping to get more or the background in but had to up the brightness to get Kayla properly exposed. That said however, I think this works better. All rather atmospheric and floaty :)

Hi Saxen, Congratulations on getting your own Exlite.

I do appreciate the compliments, but please don't let my pics stop you from posting your own. I started out taking pics of Kayla on my tablet and have only just invested in a DSLR. Mine are heavily edited and stylised as i am trying to improve my own artistic skills, but if the truth be told, i much prefer to see and follow the threads from those that post more life like and natural shots.

So please click away and post when you can, besides, the exlite is so frickin gorgeous, it really is difficult to take a bad photo of her.

For what it's worth, the best advise I can offer, would be to spend some time trying out different poses and camera angles when you take photos. Look at images you like on the net and try and recreate the same composition. It really does help bring her to life. If you look through this thread, you'll see the poses that have worked for me.

Yep, I'm pretty pleased with it myself. I got the wings by complete chance. I saw them for sale on FB the day after I got back from the Doll Meet. They were a complete bargin and so much better quality than the mass produced ones you can find on ebay. They are a meter long and were hand made with real feathers.

As soon as I got the wings I started planning the outfit for the shoot. It took a couple of weeks to get it right. I had originally planned on her wearing a white bra and a feathered skirt, but the bra didnt really suit the elven look, and the skirt wasnt all that sexy. I got lucky with her thong............. I was just going to have her wear a pair of skimpy knickers, but found the feather head piece in amongst my other charity shop finds and it worked perfectly with the necklace from Primark.

This won't be the last you'll see of this outfit, that's for sure :drool

Ok, so here are the final edits.

Shooting back lit is a pain in the ass and i didn't get the exposure right so these have had to be corrected quite a lot. I've had to sacrifice quite a lot of detail/clarity to get Kayla's body and face clearer/brighter, but still think these are better than the first ones I posted.

I'm pretty excited about it myself Sam. The location is about a 2 hour drive away, so ill be setting off at stupid O'clock on Sunday to catch first light. I had planned to go on Saturday , but there's a cosplay con www.raicon.co.uk on at the concert hall tomorrow, so ill be there instead, besides the forecast is better for sunday anyway.

No beautiful beaches or forest lochs where we're going, but if the location is all i expect it to be, I'll be able to spend all day there with a few costume changes thrown in for good measure :D

Sorry guys but I completely screwed up Sunday's shoot. I had planned to go to a deserted 'ghost village' called Polphail only to discover that some whisky baron had flattened it last year.

To say I am gutted is an understatement. Watch this and you'll understand why. It was photoshoot heaven, I could have spent a week there and still not shot everything I'd have wanted :mad:

Nope. You have to be careful, but it is possible to move them. Just use your thumb and apply a little pressure and move to the left or right, up or down. The eyes themselves are hollow hemispheres. I assume you could try and replace them if you wanted other colours, but suspect there's a high portability of tearing the foam so I'll not be trying that. Apologies, unfortunately I've not had the time or opportunity to do any new shoots of Kayla.

But grabbing time when I can to experiment with Lightroom. It's gonna take a while to fully understand all that it can do, but in the meantime, here's a few pictures I've re-editted from the previous Coverdoll shoot I took at the recent Doll Meet.

The changes are pretty subtle (minor alterations to the structure and contrast levels), but the resulting images are much improved so thought it worth posting.

Thanks Loverboy, I very much appreciate the compliment, but to be honest, i doubt any photos of Kayla can do her justice. You really need to see her in the flesh to appreciate just how captivating she is.

Out of the box, yes she is stunning, but if you take the time to dress her well, and put her in a pair of heels, she'll then stand about 5'7", and she reaches a whole other level of realism and attractiveness.

Have a read through Kayla's 2017 Doll Meet thread here http://www.uklovedollforums.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=10125 and you'll see a couple of posts from others that had a similar reaction when they saw her for the first time.

Less prone to damage than TPE or silicone?........Well if that were the case the the other TPE and silicone doll manufacturers would be out of business. Simply put the ExLite skin is PU, so will always be more susceptible to damage than TPE or silicone. The ExLite needs to be treated gently and with love, both in and out of the bedroom. If you can do that, then seriously, you'll be surprised at just how good the sex can be.

I'll leave it at that, but if you are close to Glasgow or ever passing through, then give me a shout and id be happy to show you Kayla in person as well as a TPE and silicone doll for comparison.

Test Shoot: 'kitten'

Our new house guest has become very much Kayla's plaything, and she's decided to call her 'kitten'. Quite fitting as Kayla's insisted that she wear a black cat suit and kitten ears at all times around the house.

Location scouting.........

Desided to take a drive into the highlands to clear the hangover and check out a place that I've been wanting to use for a shoot for a while, unfortunately 15 mins after we arrived the heavens opened so we only had time for a few shots. Really disappointed that I couldn't do a full shoot, but will definitely return, the scenery is stunning.

This particular road has hosted many huge films, but bonus points to anyone that can name the movie that made this specific location so iconic.

It really is breath taking Sam, but you really need to visit to appreciate just how spectacular the place is, even more hauntingly beautiful than on screen.

For thise that are interested, it's a 2 hour drive north from Glasgow, but well worth the effort. The road begins on A82 just past the Glen Coe ski resort and follws the River Etive through Glen Etive, and ends, not surprisingly, at the head of Loch Etive.

It really is amazing what a little make up and lighting can do.

Kayla's skin won't take powder make up so I use eye liner pencils for eye shadow and also on her lips and cheeks and give it a gentle rub with my finger to blend it in. For a finishing touch, I add a little vasealine on her lips to make them shine :)
To remove it, I just use cheap alcohol free, anti-bacterial wet wipes.

Well it's nearly a year since Kayla came into my life and I've been working on a photoshoot for a certain online magazine for next months edition to celebrate our anniversary. The pics below are some that didn't make the final cut.

The coat is a UK size 10 by Julie Macdonald. It's far to big and had to be pinned at the back. The cap label says size 56 but have know idea what this means. I picked up both for £1 each at mine and Sam's favourite charity shop!

The hotpants are a uk size 6 from Topshop and fit perfectly. The garter belts I found on ebay for a few quid each. Easy enough to find, just search for 'leg rings'

Well this thread is a good start, but have a look at posts #46 - #49 on page 5. I was pushing her to her limits on that shoot. Admittedly not as flexible as a silicone or TPE lady, for example she can't do the splits or raise her arms above her shoulders, but that's never really bothered me.

For what it's worth I use a Canon EOS 700D and edit all my pics on a samsung tablet. I originally ediited all my pics using the tablet's built in editting tool, but after the doll meet, I had so many photos that I took out a monthly subscription to Lightroom CC which provides more editting features and huge cloud storage. Well worth it for only £5.99/month.

A digital SLR offers so much more than an old school film SLR. It took a while to understand all the settings, but you've got so many willing models to practice with, it won't take long till you get the hang of it ;)

After finishing Kayla's shoot for this month's edition of Coverdoll I was curious to see how the shots would look if laid out like a real magazine editorial.

Disappointingly, FHM wasn't interested, so as they say, if you want something doing, do it yourself! Time to brush off my InDesign skills. Although I can't take credit for the cover, that's down to Kahn. Cheers man :tu

I'd agree, she's found her true vocation. Although to be perfectly honest, I think she always knew it but has just been very patient, waiting for me to capture her true potential. Hey it's only taken me a year!

Seriously, it's almost a year to the day since she arrived and changed my life, so this was a pretty important shoot for us both.

Expect to see more in a similar vein for Kayla's future shoots!

So Kayla arrived and changed my life almost a year ago to the day......... I still remember it like it was yesterday.

To celebrate, here's one of the very first photos I took on that fateful night. Looking back over this thread, was surprised to find that I hadn't posted it before. Anyway, a few thousand pics later it's still one of my favourites and brings back so many wonderful memories.
