Sorry, only just read this. All fixed now? Common problem with older designed condensing boilers is external outlet of condensate pipe freezing. Kettle of hot water, restart boiler, then lag pipe with strips from a Lidl windscreen ice cover secured with cable-ties as precaution against next time.
