I just heard from DA that he thinks they will be the last pictures - sobs all round. It's in France that I have been desperate for a Hestia goddess of the hearth and home to look after me when my wife's not around, and for good reason - but no such reason here in England . . .

So Stella, beautiful in sculpture as she is, had to go elsewhere . . . Perhaps I should have bought her to send her to Holland . . .
