Scotchgard Fabric Protector Spray unscented 400ml

Scotchgard Fabric Protector Spray Multi Purpose unscented 400 ml

I’ve tried this after five washes of dark lingerie, washed with whites so I could see if colour migrated. Then knowing the dye transferring had almost completed itself by the test washes.
I then sprayed the garments inside out.
Using lingerie on a silicone doll, zero transfer of dyes.
However I will not endorse this to be the best way and I cannot comment on it being full proof.
Having tested this a few times now, I’m happy with the results.

Newer fabrics for longer with Scotchguard

Choose Scotchguard multi-purpose fabric protector spray to protect your fabrics and textiles against fluids and stains. After treatment your surfaces are easy to clean and there will be no change to the original look and feel of the material. Scotchgard multi-purpose fabric protector spray forms an invisible barrier which works to repel water-based liquid such as rain, wine and coffee and helps protect against stains.

Trust Scotchgard Protector spray to protect your clothes or soft furnishings, helping them stay looking new and clean for longer without altering the look, feel or breathability of fabrics. Just one bottle can protect up to 5 jackets.

Best Regards

Thanks
I’ve been playing around with a few options lately.

We are now selling clothes that are all Scotchguard maintenanced, before we send out. A simple thing which will be a good USP for customers I believe.

Does that mean i can spray on a skirt i know stains and it should be safe ? I also have black tights i know stain, do you think it would work on them ? No biggie, i put white tights on first just in case, but some staining still leaks through  Nothing bad yet though, not like my last poor mare

The best method IMHO is to buy good quality clothes and lingerie when you want to go dark or even black. I have never had a Victoria’s Secret, Adidas, Calvin Klein or similar item even stain one bit. When getting light or white clothes it doesn’t matter of course.

Very good comments mandos, it is extremely important the quality of the garment for sure, a couple of pre washes just to make sure too.

Not sure how it would work with tights, however I am still investigating other solutions currently.

I’ve used a couple of dark basques and it worked extremely well, I’m still trying options with different colour migration detergents working with the Scotchguard spray too.

I will keep the thread updated.
