Working From Home

I know a fair few of us will be working from home at the moment, for those of you who can't, I hope you stay safe. For us homeworkers, it is very different to the hustle and bustle of the office, and you've got to go get your own coffee instead of being in a round.

Us doll owners should fear not! Now the dolls have vowed to help us in our time of need - Lynne has taken up a temporary position as my secretary, which is good as I'm crap at paperwork:

We did decide that as we're not likely to get many visitors, that the rest of the week will be "dress down" days, so we shall see how that goes!

Feel free to add your own photos of your dolls helping out in solidarity :)

Mine never help out, they just distract :)

The best I can hope for is some quiet company, Like when Aiko joined me for a day

Yeah, I'm guessing if the workload quietens down like I'm predicting, Lynne will probably be doing similar, the garden bench out on the sun looks very tempting.

I have a willing helper. I've had to tell her not to join video conferences with the camera turned on, and she is banned from browsing doll forums on the work computer.

Unlike any of the others whos excuses varied from "my nails are drying" to "I just don't care". Holly bless her lil cotton sock did at least try to help... And then it took me longer to detangle her than if I had just done the work myself.

Well done to anyone who gets more success than me at getting their girls to help out.

Shamus.

Hmm, I do often wonder if it's better not to delegate some jobs, but the effort is often appreciated.

We gave up with the idea of any kind of business dress after the first day, and so we're mostly dressing casual and comfy. Lynne wore one of her favourite mini dresses today, and I was fairly scruffy. We had a productive day, until late on in the afternoon, the printer broke. I was busy muttering away at some task I had to do, so Lynne jumped up, grabbed some tools and declared that she would fix it.

The problem with her mini dress is that it does occasionally ride up a little high, especially while she is wiggling away. This was the view from my desk:

We finished work early today. Haven't a clue if the printer works.

P.S. Apparently it is "dress down Friday" tomorrow, so who knows what work will get done!

I see the problem, it needs refilling...
