I've now got some money to get a real doll. So there is one thing I want to know. Is there any thing you need to get the crate they come in open, and how easy is it to open:confused:

All you really need is a medium sized philips screwdriver and a sharp knife to slit the polythene. Oh and lots of patience for the dreaded waiting period:D.

Mine has stardrive screws so you'll need a trip to Halfords for a special screwdriver or 'bit'.

That sort of set should cover you, it contains the usual screw head sized torx bits

My 2014 doll had standard phillips screws.

The right sized flat screwdriver bit will get the star drive heads out.
