One of the reasons (not the only reason!) I still haven’t bought a doll is because of the weight of them. So many are in the 40 kg category but even at 30 kg that’s not exactly lightweight if you have a bad back like me. There are a few under 30 kg but not many to choose from as most of those don’t fit the type I am looking for as they are too small in overall height and look too young (I want something that resembles a woman in her 30s not a teenager). I am interested in knowing just how light the new dolls could be but I am guessing that if they are silicone and have additional weight saving technology then the price may become another factor preventing purchase.
