We use a low voltage heating system to reduce the risk for injury. (No one wants unexpectedly shocking nether regions!) It takes about 1 – 2 hours to reach the full internal temperature and we have two heat options – high and low. The heat will increase depending on how long you keep it plugged in. You should never leave it plugged in more than 2 hours (1 hour on high then 1 on low). With the system being low voltage we felt that it not only met safety standards but also allowed for mobile heating. In the US at least one of our target markers is over-the-road truck drivers who may want to be able to plug their doll into the cigarette lighter. We chose a system to maximize safety, durability, reliability and functionality. Safety first! With sexy a close second
