Definitely agreed, his skills in a multitude of areas are possibly surpassed only by his willingness to assist all in need.

Personally, although thousands of miles away (lots more in kilometers
) I have been inspired by Karrot to venture my own repairs and mods with great results, and was one of, if not the first to inspire my humble but much improved Teddybabe photography.
