Does anyone know anything about the Sinthetics heating element vs the higher voltage on this side of the pond?
Of course I am far too well behaved to make unseemly jokes about electrocution via one's nether regions in connection with this topic! ![]() ![]() |

Hi All,
Best is to ask themselves if they have a 230 V unit too. If 110 V only then the only safe way to use it, and I dare to say this cause this is more about electricity than about the SD doll and one can consider me as technically well educated, here is to buy a convertor for it that converts our 230 V to 110 V is needed. This units are bit pricey, cause due its for heating I think one needs one with a higher capacity, maybe it needs 500 W (this is something you have to ask SD if the unit is 110 V only before ordering the convertor) then a max 1000 W one is available for e.g. 130.00 euro. See e.g. this 1000 W one with 2 USA power outlets. http://www.allekabels.nl/Omvormer/17...1000-Watt.html Mytime & Helen & Carmen Last edited by mytime; 19-03-2011 at 08:35 AM. |

Thanks for your reply. Do you agree with MyTime's recommendation re voltage conversion?
