Phil wins!!!
On the 9th day of August in the year of our lord 2022, I beat HMRC, at Chelmsford magistrate's court, to query the legality of the seizure of a Piper 150cm Small Breast Akira.
Much was argued, but I think by virtue of the fact that I was the first to do this, that their evidence (and quality of) was terrible. It is ok to now import them. So we have made some gigantic baby steps. |

No one other than the BF officer, and the numpty police, who illegally destroyed the doll.
So we're getting a new one or costs. |

So I think from this that payment will not be made from them personally but rather the public purse as it was in the line of their duty.

Congratulations Phil! Hopefully the case will set a precedent that will make them think twice about the currently very dubious import regulations!

Well done, Phil I hope that all your costs are recouped too as you won the case.

No costs.
But TBF I wasn't expecting any, but money spent well. Sometimes the victory is beyond money. |
