from what i have read on here even if the clothes have been washed a lot watch out for lace and elastic they hold the dye even after washing. i also read with a tpe doll watch thigh high stockings the tops can have silicon bands that can harm the doll.

Coming back to what shamus said about stains coming back. It's possible, if the deeper oils make their way to the surface, they could push the dye out. But I think the dye, once 'soaked in,' would dissipate as it travels deeper. We know tpe is porous, so the dye is filling those little holes, and I'm assuming the stain remover dissolves the dye in those holes thus allowing it to travel further in. Just as an addition. When I catch my white sheets in the right light I can see their true colour: violet. eco
