How to include good sized pics?
I just made first thread and added a couple of pics, but I only used the tags and they were very small. How do you get good sized pics on the threads?
Thanks Gazza |

You can create albums within the forum with a max resolution of 1024x1024, there is a tutorial somewhere but if I can't find it I can explain it in this thread. Some members use external hosting, such as IMGBB.com. I prefer the forum albums just because only members can see the photos.

Even in private once you post the link all members and none members get to see those photos. If you want to be private don't use an external hosting site. Private stops people viewing the rest of the images in your album. It's all down to how private you want to be, I use several forums, imgbb is convenient, so I use it. I don't like the fact Web crawler bots pick up those links and spread them all over the internet.

There is no visible access to none members to that link within a post on this site. Log out, view the forum been a guest and try it for yourself. It's all convenience V's privacy, that is why I actually use both. Tommo

Thanks Dongo, that is because the forum software resizes them down, it just has its limitations on how large a photo can be for it to resize. It does state on the upload screen.....Maximum Picture Dimensions 1,024 by 800 Pixels, so I was a bit wrong when I said 1024x1024 |
