I'm sorry to have to say that the seller from has not made good on his promise.

When buying items blind being shipped it's essential for the parties to be able to trust each other.

I was not expecting a sexually damaged item upon the reading of the information disclosed by the seller.

He wrote to me
Quote:
I'm an artist (drawing with pencils) and that's all she's been used for.
His explanation of the brown gunge and foul smell, which I have never smelled with a TPE doll before and gave the impression of an organic odour was curious:

Quote:
I cleaned out the doll thoroughly the day before I posted it to you following my understanding of TPE dolls: I used 'water wipes' only and powdered her down with talc, including all orifices and the vaginal insert. This is supposed to be done regularly in order to avoid the build up of mold.

The only explanation here is that there was a chemical reaction between the excess powder, water and brown-tan TPE after I cleaned her up, a reaction that has exacerbated during the journey. This would also explain the foul smell. I just wish I had just left the doll as it was, and not spent the time cleaning her.
The explanation does not explain the degradation of the TPE nor the splitting of the vagina, repair of which is legendarily difficult https://www.dollforum.com/forum/view...?f=215&t=82898 and nor have I ever experienced water causing a TPE doll to react to produce a brown gunge.

Sellers - PLEASE be honest in your descriptions.

Best wishes

Build up of mould would not occur if 'unused' as stated in the original advert.

I'm beginning to wonder if 'alcohol wipes' have been used...? I've never used them, but I can only guess at what they would do to TPE which is heavily oil based.

If she was originally purchased for 'photographic purposes', I wonder why the original purchaser bothered with 2 vaginal inserts.

I also wonder why the seller didn't include some of his own photo's instead of relying on 'ones taken in the factory'.

Buyer beware... ah, too late...

Aah - you've hit a nail on the head. Only one insert was sent in the box, so that tells a story.

Best wishes

I'm pleased to say that the seller got back to me eventually telling me that he's been through a terrible time on account of a burglary.

He tells me that he used wet wipes to clean her before sending her off and that normally such things are water based. However, looking at the packet he notes that they contained solvents - a salutary warning for anyone using such things -

Quote:
Phenoxyethanol (a solvent) and Ethylhexylglycerin listed in them. This has clearly reacted with the TPE and the talc powder to produce the gunge and residue. I started by cleaning the vaginal area then opened the legs to clean inside. My guess is the Phenoxyethanol weakened the vagina and resulted in the tearing as I moved the doll around to finish the cleaning.
My faith in human nature is at least restored even if Rose holds to her opinions.

Best wishes

Good to know Harem. I read all kinds of things on the Interweb about things being TPE safe, but it pays to test on a TPE sample before biting the bullet.

I hope your honeymoon can now begin.

As with anything a stitch in time saves nine - so the first task is to investigate any sort of repair. Silicone is an easier material to deal with . . .

Best wishes
