Kylie is looking rather scrumptious in her denim cutoffs, showing those lovely tan thighs.
I find the timber background highly apt for the Mosquito, as one who "wood" understand why.

Pete.

I wondered who wood be first to spot the connection. (Haha! I didn't think of it, but now you mention it...)

It was also, for a time, the fastest airplane in the world, despite being made largely of wood in the age of aluminium alloy -- just before the jet age.

Default Art imitating art

One of my all time favorite paintings is Summer House by Paul Kelley. Here is my imitation:
Summer House

In the foreground is Faina, by Anatomical Doll. The other doll is Eva, a TPE doll made in China.

She certainly is!

Here is the inevitable gratuitous post-photo shoot photo:

Excellently done, the timber furniture, floorboards, the necklace etc, even the objet d'art on the side table.
Somehow dolls seem to lend themselves to the cultured arts quite naturally, I guess they themselves are of a culture of sorts and are most certainly art.

I agree. These life-like modern works of art lend themselves to contrasting old fashioned art. Old wooden furniture and posh surroundings in general seem to be their natural domain. (I need to get some more old wooden furniture. I found that chair on the right in a junk shop near where I live. A bargain at ten quid. Expect to see it in future photos!)

Here is Anoushka, my other Anatomical Doll (made in 2010):

Anoushka stopped by to discuss building a new pyramid. (I took that photo in 2011.)

I offered to build the foundations just outside Cairo for a fair price, and after my customary method of negotiation, we reached an agreement.
