New to Forum
Hi I'm new to the forum, I've been looking around for my first doll for about a month and wanted to get advice on 1st time buys. Which sites are reliable do,s and don't,s sizes and deciding whether it's for me or not. There looks to be a lot of info on the forum for me to browse

Expect to get told to watch the weight a lot (hers, not yours) TPE/Sil girls can get HEAVY! the usual suspects for top tier girls CloudClimax.co.uk and The-Doll-House.com For cheaper options KimberDoll.co.uk Lucid (though we dont liek to talk about them, they have bad press here) K

Welcome to the forum, enjoy perusing the various threads
 Karrot is correct with the recommended vendors, they have been used a lot by members and have proven themselves to be trustworthy. There have been good and bad experiences with Lucid by members here, I haven't dealt with them myself but I would personally go with either Cloud Climax or The Doll House, or if money was a tight factor then Kimber are a good and cost-effective option to 'test the waters' of the doll world, they only do one head but afterwards you can fit many of the tan heads from other manufacturers.

Then there's learning maintenance if you should loose an eyelash, or the makeup fades and removing stains etc. Then finding out what clothes fit, and how to place a wig that doesn't keep falling off. Or you could just jumping into the deep end. More expensive dolls are much much better, so why not start out with the best? The choice is yours....

Welcome to the forum. As Karrot said, Kimber Doll or Lucid are a good way to get into "testing the waters". Kimber is near WM/6YE Tan and Irontech Brown, so you can always change the head at a later date.
It is worth noting with the dolls, they are quite delicate in place (wire fingers, joint bolts, etc) so care is needed to look after them. Ask any questions, no matter how silly they may seem to be. We have all been there and have made mistakes and learnt from them. Here we are a companion/love doll forum (hence the sites name), so we have strong bonds without girls and see them as far more then just a sex doll.

Lucidtoys are becoming the place to buy certain brands and always worth a look, Irontech, 6ye, Xydoll and JY to name just a few, they are all genuine brands, it's just if the dolls in stock have the options you require, if they are you can get a great deal.
