Rather than being a game changer I think it will be a niche filler for those who want the visual realism without the weight of silicone/TPE and those who need to stash her away in a small place, but I don't believe it will damage sales of silicone or TPE dolls to any great degree. Only time and buyer's reviews will really shape their place in the market and success in sales.
I simply can't justify that kind of money for a doll I don't actually need, it would have been as a photographic model with the ability to stand but the inherent wrinkles and limb joints restrict use for photography. Maybe if the price drops after R&D costs are covered along with a choice of faces but I think I will be more inclined to try and save enough to treat Emma to a new TPE body. But that's just me. |

I'm sure that at the £800 level sales will take on an enthusiasm. With luck that will be maintained at the £900 mark but as soon as four figures are approached a value judgment which may be irrational starts to kick in beyond £100 per kg.
Stack'em high, sell'em cheap and soon no household will be without one ;-) It's apparent from the Chinese forum that DS are starting to split the market between EX Lite and EX Pro - ie silicone - and creating the appropriate price difference will be crucial to the success of that. I'm sure this lady is tipped for success Best wishes Harem

Even at the price of£900 pounds that is a lot of money
For a plastic and foam doll...better off saving up more money for a tpe or silcone. If this doll was priced at between 300 to 400 pounds Ok.....and the end of the day it's a cheaply made doll in kit form Dark |

Hi,
My samples will be here before Xmas, so I will be putting a Video onto UKDollForum, DS official video will be ready shortly, so I'm told. This will hopefully give more detailed socialising of the Ex Lite. Best Paul |

No problem,
I know DS are going to make a video and more detailed pictures to show the Ex Lite so all customers and interested individuals will fully understand this product. They will also make some comparison video, to show the difference between the silicone doll and foam doll. Once I have samples I will do a video too for the forum, remember though video production is not my speciality so don't judge my director and production skill set!!! Best Paul |

Time will tell all, and once we see a couple of dolls a year on with varying degrees of use, it's all fairly academic.
Apart from the wrinkle factor, they look great, are convenient, produced by a reputable company, and headed for a lower price point, that's a given. Durability will determine for me at least, the justification of any given price tag, frankly, if the foam is anything like other similar type foam products, after a year or two max, it's not promising. ATM, I'm expecting in effect, a long life disposable doll, if the price drops accordingly, they will sell like hotcakes and fill the inflatable niche and the one between inflatable and solid doll. But it's only speculation and one opinion. Pete. |

Thanks for your reply,
I can get the price down to £799 with free shipping UK. To do this I will be sea shipping with a 45 day lead time, this would make the order to delivery process 8-9 weeks. Just a further solution to reduce price, I'm just sorting out the finer detail with DS regarding this option. Best Paul |

Now that price puts her in line with TeddyBade Deluxes and that cant be a bad thing.
Do you think this Doll will become an 'In Stock' item for you, as in you hold a number of them for immediate dispatch? Karrot |

Hi Karrot,
I will have a number of Ex Lite for faster delivery options one to two day. Hence sea shipping but the lead time is 45 day shipping so it's working out 8-9 weeks from order to distribution currently, However having stock holding will give me more opportunity to send on 24/48 hour deliveries. Right now getting my samples then publishing the video (first in UKDollForum). Is what I believe from here will stimulate forum sales, however I'm confident and seeing a few orders already on my new launched site www.cloudclimax.co.uk as well as www.cloudclimax.com as you know I work with the trade industry too. So retailers independent and larger multiples can buy through my .co.uk site with the agent secured login access. Best Paul Last edited by CloudClimax; 14-12-2016 at 04:09 PM. |
