Default Maybe yes maybe no (It's a No !)

Ok so with Glorificus getting a great deal on a new body i thought i'd try and do the same, I was just about to order a pay for a CST silicon 165 body and had it added to my "basket" and thought i would look for a head to go with it, i was only looking for a few minutes and figured i would buy the body just now and get a head if needed at a later date as i have a few silicon heads here, and i just purchased one on Monday from Lucidtoys which arrived on Tuesday another story for another time.

Anyway i was about to pay for the body and the price shot up from £695 to £1295 needless to say i did not proceed with the order.

So i had another look to see what i could find and i did find another silicon doll at £695 (down from £995) this was a youQdoll 163 cm

So i did not hesitate and bought the doll body, There was only 1 left, so after the purchase i had a look again and it said sold out on this body.

About 2 hours later i get a DPD tracking number, so far so good.

I then go back and look at the advert again only to find they now have 1 in stock and the price is now £995

Ok so they found another on the shelf.......maybe ....

I had ordered before the 2pm cut off so i expected the doll to be sent out the same day as previous purchases have been including the doll head i bought on Monday (delivered Tuesday )

But no, so i figured it would be sent out today , but again no and no communication from Lucidtoys

So i am not sure what is going on as to whether or not i am going to get this doll or not.

I have just sent an email to them asking if there are any problems with the order.

Will let you know how i get on.

Ok so i got an email back early afternoon basicly saying there was a mistake on the pricing on their website and the price should have been £995 and not £695 (even though i there was a price of £995 £695 and the body was in their sale).

They were willing to give me a 10% discount on the body so therefore i had to pay anothe £200 before the body would be sent to me making it £895 in total.

I declind there kind offer and asked for a full refund of all money paid.

At this point i am still waiting there reply or the money going back into my >>> PAYPAL <<< account..

I also got the same email, with 10% off. I paid them Saturday 1st October £705 including Saturday shipping, expecting the CST to arrive this Saturday, I told them to refund PayPal, account. Their email is below.

Thanks Tommo, exactly the same email (just price difference) i only bought it because of the price.

I might have been persuaded if it was the CST 165 as i would have prefered that body, The youQdoll was just because i missed out on the CST but by your email i would not have got that either

So i await my paypal refund, i will give them till tomorrow evening then i will file a claim with paypal.

That is a rather unethical way to do business Pull you in with a low price and then try to convince you they are giving you a good deal with 10% off the difference! Disgusting and if it has happened to you two then it will have happened to others, it appears to me (he says erring on the side of caution) that this is deliberate and not a mistake.

They were quick to change the price after i had purchased it and they did not contact me i had to email them, so i think it was just a mistake on there part but will keep an eye on there site and see if they keep make the same mistake.

I had emailed them within a few minutes of receiving their email so they had had plenty time to issue a refund, if i had paid the extra the doll would have been picked up by now by DPD but because i refused i think they are now dragging their heels, its fine because i will just file a paypal claim as i paid with paypal credit, they up the price and did not honour the original price so they don't have a leg to stand on and if i decide to put this thread back into the public domain then it will not look good for them.

At this point i don't think they know who i am ....

I think this should be documented and everyone should know about it. Written neutrally, without judgment as nobody knows if they did it forcefully or not.

Just my personal idea.
