Nope. Major upgrade being done to the hi-fi, which is costing around the same amount. Opportunity to get a couple of ex-demo units, a streamer and an amplifier at a very good price. Plus have got three other components on the way from eBay.

If you like vinyl you should speak to For Real. He makes tone arms for a living. They are a work of art. Ive sat round his a few times listening to music. The set up he has sounds fantastic

Will do I have two Bang & Olufsen tangential record decks... Not a big vinyl collection by any stretch, but some Went into our local record shop a week or so ago, bought Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk" and ordered Kraftwerk's "Trans Europe Express" - the first LP I'd ordered from a record shop (as opposed to online) in something like forty years!!

LOL, I can recall a similar experience when me and the ex were moving in. She complained about the size of my B&W's and wanted to swap them out for the crappy speakers that came with her micro system. Tried to explain why that wasn't a good idea and was just accused of talking bollocks and trying to confuse her with technical jargon to get my own way.

Sometimes wish I'd done it and blown them to smithereens but didn't want to risk damaging my amp.
