if you are looking for a doll to buy on here, then just look in the dolls for sale section and buy one from someone there. Thats how it works. There's no need to announce it .

Maybe it's worth explaining the reaction, just in case OP's story is legit.

@valz84 - There are people that show up looking for freebies/big discounts on dolls for sale who then just turn around and resell their bargain immediately for a profit.

People here, when selling dolls, want their dolls to go to good homes. They don't want to give/sell to someone that won't appreciate the doll and is just looking to abuse their generosity to make a quick buck.

Given those facts I'm sure you can understand that a new forum member that hasn't joined in any conversations and has only posted requests for bargains/freebies with a sob story designed to tug on heart strings is treated with suspicion.

I am sorry if your story is true, that's a shitty situation, but for all we know you're just fishing for bargains and using a lie to get "charity dolls" which you'll just sell on for a profit.

Given that your only posts are these sob-story posts asking for free/cheap dolls I find you highly suspicious. You haven't engaged in any other threads, you haven't expressed any interest in anyone's dolls or enthusiasm for pictures or the hobby. The fact that you aren't looking for anything specific rings alarm bells, doubly so if you had an accident that prevents you from working as I'd imagine you have some very specific requirements from a doll (such as weight).

Hopefully that explains why you're getting the reaction that you're getting.
