Default Korean Football Team Gains Doll Fans

Made me chuckle this morning:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...to-fill-stands

Why the need to apologise I don't know. I'm sure some of you will be able to tell me the brand/model/face numbers within a couple of minutes

They're QiTa dolls. There's a clue in the hair accessory

Great idea as a human audience substitute!

"The K-League club FC Seoul said the dolls, which had been dotted around stands currently off-limits to supporters due to the coronavirus outbreak, had been ordered inadvertently after a “misunderstanding” with the supplier."

Misunderstanding my rosy red arse.
They knew full well what they were buying and where they were buying from.

Still that a nice encouragement for the team perform well and train harder.

Probably not even 'bought'...

More likely 'on loan' from Qita on the proviso that their product name is shown for advertising purposes...

...and it worked, and kudos to them!

More supporters at a Rugeley town away game... Now what we really want to see is 40,000 of them filling the terraces at Wembley... About the only way that you would ever get me to a football match.

In fact. Stick 22 of them on the pitch as well. Even better. The dribbling would all be coming from one person sat in the terraces enjoying the 90 minutes of silent letching

Good spot, I only read the story earlier rather quickly as I was in the office, didn't notice what was on the headgear

Now as for doll football teams, I think we need to pitch this proposal to Realdoll or DS, I think it would make an excellent spectator sport

Which leads to the question would Jinsan field one team or five???

Looks as though Irontech are already putting a team together so better get their scates on.

Like the way that they wear their kit
