the bone need to be mounted inside the dolls body.
I need to make 4 access points to the joints because you need to hold the screw and nut from both sides.
The opening to remove the bone was very large and I will start tomorrow with closing the cuts.

Last picture is with the already inserted bone, the long cut downside is already cured - the picture before shows the broken bone during the extraction operation so its already going up for Kohana, movement is exactly like her other leg now, mechanically its al ok... but a really messy operation - not recommended.

Nice going Thrawnxii it does look like an involved and messy op. i hope those cuts close neatly for you.

Good call on the alloy pipe, looks like Extruded Aluminium, and if it is will be way stonger than the plastic pipe, probably stronger than the joints

Good luck with the closures tomorrow

You are a brave man thrawnxii, that looks like quite an operation.

Good luck tomorrow, I hope you both recover completely.

So far so good. It looks like a very complex operation, but everything seems to be going well. You've kept those deep incisions as neat as possible in the circumstances and I'm sure they will heal well when you close them up. Good luck.

Congratulations, thrawnxii.

She's lucky to have a skilled surgeon like you.

Thanks for sharing.
