After an unexpected, extended stay in bed with me whilst recovering from a broken finger. I managed to get Arya dressed and downstairs to keep Maisie Daisie company.

To make up for it, I've got them both a big bag of Maynard's Wine Gums to share.

Arya's got her feet up because her legs are to short to get them bent to touch the floor in how she is sitting. At least she was being helpful as it allowed to to hoover under her feet.

Maisie Daisie looks like she's challenging you to dare take the telly controls

Thanks.

Agnes is still on the rest bed as she is a lot heavier than Arya to move about, let alone dress.

Only one thing thwarted her, I still had the control for the TV and Blu Ray player whilst she had the remote for the Sky TV box.

Guess what I got to use

Still Maisie Daisie and Arya got to see the first six episodes of The Orville.

Hi mcsurfie, glad you're on the mend. Sorry to hijak arya's thread but if Maisie is still after a friend I've notice smart doll are selling cortex again.

https://shop.smartdoll.jp/collection...cortex-version

They still aren't cheap and I think they are self assembly but take a look and see what you think.

Hi Amydoll.

I did look at the prices and they are still beyond my range as the next few months I have some big bills, starting tomorrow with my car being serviced and MOTed.

With the money saved, I can then get Maisie Daisie some of these style of clothes.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/KESOTO-Cust...s=kids&sr=1-30
I'll most likely end up with a similar doll to Maisie Daisie - even possibly an elf one, though their ears are stuck on they are a third of the price of a Smartdoll.

That would then give me money to treat Agnes and Arya as well with Xmas presents.

I know the feeling about big bills, I'm working my behind off to get money to have my next doll before Christmas but my mot is due in November and I'm worried it's gonna wipe out my savings.
Although with the girls I've been looking at lately I think I'll probably scrap the car and walk to work 😁.

And then there's fliss to think about, she wants new clothes and they cost a fortune but as you know - the little ones have ways have getting what they want. No matter what lol

There are dolls I'd like as well but have got to the practical stage that at the moment two is enough for where I live, along with the space. Thirdies excluded because they don't take up much room at all, just claim every space as their own.

As for clothes for thirdies, then I get mine off of Amazon or eBay as they are a lot cheaper than the official Smart Doll range and you can probably find similar Smart Doll clothes on Amazon for a fraction of the price.
