Glad to hear she's ok, pride can easily be repaired.

This time of year rural roads are bloody slippery - wet mud, fallen leaves make hazardous conditions, its easily done.

Back in 1991 I ended up upside-down in an orchard at night held in place by my seat belt. Something was dripping and sizzling on what was left of the engine while vehicle lights came and went, their drivers doubtless casually wondering how long that wreck had been there.

Eventually I found the door handle and the seat belt clip...

I hope Holly has a better time of it than I did.

Good to hear that Holly is OK, it must have shaken her up though.

Yeah I had a similar bad smash 25 years ago about this time of the year. Lost it on mud from a farmers entrance/exit to his fields and my car ended up nose diving down a ditch with the roof smashing into a big tree, the roof wash squashed to bonnet level. Luckily I wasn't wearing a seat belt because I would have been killed. When I woke up my head was down by the foot pedals and the car was nose down... I couldn't move and on top of that I remember someone shouting "quick get some water the engine's on fire!". Anyway.. luckily the local fire brigade turned up and cut me out through the roof. I couldn't say how many rolls I took coz I was knocked out and all I can remember is loosing grip and waking up upside down.

Shit happens Holly!

yeah i rolled a car back in the mid 70's it was a 64 ford falcon two door.
i hit some ice slid off the shoulder hit a sign post went slightly air borne and slid down the street on the drivers side of the car. onlt thing that kept it from going over on to the roof was the after market clamp on roof racks i had on it. not fun to go through but fortunately the car was built like a tank so minimal damage was done.
