Default Footplate question ??

Is a none standing plate same as a standing just without bolts .
Would holes be in a none standing plate ?
Just wondering if two different plates used or just same one but one without standing bolts .
Thx

Hi Tomcat, some lesser quality dolls(non standing) have just bent wire going into the leg bone covered with body filler for the foot plate this could be drilled and bolts glued in but the ankle construction will possibly fail, hope this helps.

Yeah Matt, practice safe algebra and use brackets!

Regarding the foot plate, it MAY be that the joint between leg and ankle is different/strengthened also, as well as depending on year of manufacture and manufacturer. Not an easy one to answer.

My WM140 is non standing, but if I put her in trainers will full foot support, the trainers seem to distribute the weight more evenly.

Fine for a short photo session, say half an hour, but I wouldn't want to deform the TPE over any longer period.
