Thank you for the warm welcomes and comments. Chitose didn't explore for long, it got to 9pm and everything had gone quiet. We found her fast asleep in the laundry basket, the wee mite must have been tired after her travels from Japan. However, when we woke up this morning there was no sign of her. Looks like she had got up early and found something to entertain her self with.

So far she's been no bother, but it's early days yet. Over breakfast, she explained that when her things arrive she would demonstrate her skills in 'elven magics'. She wouldn't tell me what 'things' will be arriving nor what 'elven magics' to expect. She told me to stop been an impatient human and that I'd have to wait and see.

Wow, she sure is cute. Congratulations sorry I've missed her arrival but I've been a bit busy lately. I can't wait to let fliss know she has a friend.
I notice she has some very distinctive ears , dont let the cuteness of the first few weeks fool you. It's funny when she ties your shoe laces together, it's not so funny when she steals your car, maxes out your credit cards and robs an off license lol.
Sorry if that sounds alarming, no need to worry I'm sure you're little elf will be no trouble at all. .......

Thank you Poppy, so far she has been no bother, me and the girls are doing our best to make her feel at home, so at the moment all is peaceful.

Thanks AD. So far we've had no major incidents involving animals in blenders, but I am concerned for the welfare of the local squirrels because she thinks they'd make a nice fur coat. It seems she doesn't have taste for alcohol (silly juice as she calls it) but she does consume a lot of coffee, and she sure has developed a taste for anything containing chocolate.
