Post UKLDF Sales Rules - Read before posting a sale.

Rules for Sales Posts on the UK Love Doll Forum.

(1) The sales section is for members use only. The item/s for sale must be doll related.

(2) Your post must include a photo of the item for sale including your username on this forum and evidence to show the date the photo was taken.

(3) Images must be your own and be of the exact item for sale.

(4) List full details of the item including: Manufacturer, Material (TPE, Plush, Silicone etc.), date of manufacture (if known), Vendor (who sold you the item), also list any included accessories etc.

(5) List, in detail, any and all damage and/or repairs to the item. Include photos that clearly show damaged or repaired areas.

(6) State whether the item can be delivered or is pick-up only. If it can be delivered, state whether UK only, Europe only or that full International delivery is available. Be clear about who will pay. If pick-up only, list the location at which the item can be picked-up.

(7) State your price, be clear about what is included in this price. Auctions are not permitted.

(8) Include the following statement as the last line of your initial sales post. "I have read and understand the UKLDF Sales Rules".

(9) Use the forum's Private Messaging system for initial replies, do not give your email, postal address or telephone number on the open forum.

(10) You should update your sales post with an "Item still for sale" post every 28 days until the item is sold or withdrawn from sale.

(11) Other members should not post in a sales thread unless they are interested in buying the listed item, if you are interested then say so as part of any question asked. Inform a member of staff if you see something wrong within a sales post, do not post within the thread.

(12) On completion of the sale a post should be made stating that the item has been sold. If withdrawn from sale post a message stating that the item is withdrawn. This allows the mods to remove the thread from the 'Sales' section, helps avoid confusion and keeps the sales area current.

These rules are straightforward and simple, if you are new to the forum then please have a look at some older sales threads for examples of what works here, if you are in any doubt please ask a member of staff for help.

Failure to comply with all of the above sales instructions will result in the sales thread being immediately removed to the practice forum where only the original poster (OP) and staff can view the thread. The OP will then have 48 hours in which to edit their thread and ensure that it does then comply with UKLDF sales rules, once they are sure that it complies they should PM a staff member and ask to have the sales thread checked and returned to the sales section.

Repeat offenders will have their access to the sales section removed.

Thank you for complying and good luck with your sale.

The Site Staff

Post For sale posting rules update

Hi, I guess it's not realy an update on the rules but more of an Information Notice on rule 11.

Quote:

This rule will now be enforced by all Mods at all times.

So here it is again.

Only make a post in a for sale thread if you are interested in buying the item for sale.

If you see something wrong with the for sale add please do not take it upon yourself to try sort it.

If you wish pm a Mod and let them know whats wrong.

Any post which is made that is not directly related to actually buying the item will be removed without notice.

There have been some helpful posts and some which if taken the wrong way could be seen as derogatory and offensive.

So to combat this we have taken the decision to only allow posts that are relevant to actualy buying the item for sale from prospective buyers.

I do hope no one is offended by this post and it is not pointed at anyone specific, its just the way we would like this little section run from now on.

Save any hassle in the future.

Any post from anyone who has no interest in buying the item for sale, will Not be deleted but that post will be move to another part of the forum, Basically a recycle bin that does not get emptied.

Also you will not be informed that your post has been removed, thats what this post is here for.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Samurai..
Just an addendum, do love that word. We do have on here a couple of bottom-feeders who constantly make lowball offers on sellers dolls only to resell them for profit. This is a pet-hate of mine as buying dolls is like walking through a minefield without profiteers spoiling it for newbies who may have got it wrong and are just getting ripped off . So do your homework before selling.

If you do get silly underprice offers or begging posts then please drop a PM to the Mods.

This is just another polite reminder.

Please read info in the posts above before posting in the sales section, it becoming apparent recently some members are not aware of these rules before posting their sales threads. At times there are a collection of Sales posts in the practice forum pending correction.

If you make any post in a For Sale thread that does not comply with the rules above it will be removed without notice.

Cheers
Tommo
