you had me at finger joints....

Will you not also be needing larger bones with the smaller bone ball connectors to transition the fingers?

Very exciting developments AH

Possibly, probably, maybe, actually, maybe not, could be, etc...

Very early days, we are getting used to the wool before knitting ourselves a jumper...

Perhaps I didn't quite understand the question - my apologies.

Have we got a pause in production process. Design work in progress.
Really nice the exercising girl now back in the corner of the screen, sad moment this morning at 5:30am, I went to check her out, I think she was taking a break.

Brilliant thread AH,

Thanks
Tommo

Haha - yeah, well technical issues always get in the way of progress. I was fitting the filament guide and enhanced thumb wheels for bed levelling. Self printed upgrades to 3D printers are known as 'Vitamins'...

It won't be live 24/7 long term. Basically, when I'm printing something, I need to monitor it remotely. Broadcasting the stream is a by-product for members to enjoy if they like watching paint dry.

Is that a dancing Tifa? I did find myself watching for a little while though nothing is printing

Do look forward to seeing how things come out, especially the fingers

I guess it is... Didn't really know she was a well known game character. I just saw a mini version as someone's avatar on TDF and liked it. I did a reverse Google Image lookup and found a better quality one to use.

After initial experiments, I 'm thinking that they would need to be thicker bones to be strong enough. Possibly too thick to fit inside a TPE finger without causing an odd bulge. It's on my list of things to tinker with.

LIVE: Currently printing: Anime character in 'Skin' colour PLA.

First time using the skin colour PLA. There are lots of supports needed for this figure, so it'll look a bit weird whilst printing! Couple that with a much lower temperature than that suggested by the manufacturer and it could all go wrong...

Enjoy!
