Here are a couple more pics of this, as yet, unnamed lady.
I think the skin tones seem to match better in artificial light...

She looks like an Abbie to me...

When it comes to her skin tone thing, like most of the other people i wouldn't have noticed had it not been mentioned. Also, the collar trick sounds like a winner to me as well. She's a really beautiful girl, i'd certainly be happy! If you're a perfectionist, i can understand your situation but... would you be happier without her?

I say, stick with her and post up more photos.

My Chloe is a tan head on a Kimberdoll body. When you take her hair off you notice the difference but since the hair covers the back of the head, most of the sides of the face and then the shadowing from the hair on the front of her neck, it's hard to tell the difference. I certainly can't see a difference with your girl. she looks very beautiful.

I agree . You could also try a monochrome filter on pictures you think the difference in tone is jarring. The Isabel head is really, really nice.
The eyes are nicely posed. What sort of eye mechanism does XY have? I'm also curious about how compatible the head/neck connectors are. I didn't think DS was standard m16?

The XY head has a mechanism that allows really easy movement of the eyes.
Not exactly sure about the details, but it certainly beats having cotton wool stuffed behind the eyes. I don't think there will be any way to change the eyes, though, so if I don't like the colour of them , too bad.

I discovered I had a hollow M16 bolt, which fits nicely over the DS neck connector. It's not perfect, but the head fits well enough.

Thanks tommie. I like the sound of easy to move eyes and for me the lack of an option to change them would be worth the benefit of that.
