Had my jy for a few weeks now and I'm very impressed, my only complaint is her neck seems a bit loose - her head rolls slowly back if shes sitting but it's not an issue for me as she spends all her time in bed.

Here's a few pics, for those that don't know the head in these pics is wm which is why the skin tone doesn't quite match.















In response to your last question shamus, melody is settling in fine but shes taken an interest in motorbikes so I best hide my keys when I go out.

to get the slight skin tone difference to disappear (to the eye and camera) use a black choker.

Black but doesn't lose colour and I've used them with all my girls so SM/Irontech/Jinsan TPE all fine and that includes two pure white girls.

Nice try with using her hair but not the same.

Melody REALLY! seems to be coming into her own. She looks really happy and confident now.

They always have that mix of slightly worried / Bunny trapped in headlights look when they first climb out of their box. God knows what horror stories they are told by the other girls in China about what awaits them in the decadent west.

I find that the more that there are for them to mix with, the faster that they feel at home so we should all take a leaf from Tommo's book and make our girls feel really at home as quickly as possible by filling our houses with their kin (thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

Shes been with me for nearly 10 months now, tpe still feels brand new, no finger pokes and the wires are all still intact. As a doll to just cuddle up next to in bed she's perfect. So perfect that I'm even considering playing the lucid lottery and getting another one for xmas, but I'm thinking a gel breasts version from jy might be a better purchase

Hi I only have experience of the standard JY TPE early 2019 vintage and their "platinum" TPE, but not the "jelly" one.

The platinum is pretty much oil free and the standard was also pretty good in this respect.

To my mind, the platinum TPE is soft enough and pretty lifelike. It is also very low on the odour front

Quick question.
Ignore the skin tone as shes always under the quilt anyway but are wm heads bigger than jy heads? I never noticed till the other day when I was changing the bed sheets but the wm head looks a bit big for the jy body.

She's lovely, nothing is require other than a longer wig to hide the shoulder/head line. I do it all the time.

All depends upon the head.

A lot of people know that there are the incompatible sizes. the 100-118 the 125 to the 136 and the 140+

And then they leave it at those three bandings.

Problem is thath the 140+ head size isn't just one size shell but a whole series of them as different as the skulls of more traditional women.

For instance, the skull shell on head #57 and #36 both of which were originally intended for the 140 body are smaller than heads such as #259 and #273. There are of course more than just two shells.

The heads generally fit all 140+ bodies because the neck circumference is geared towards accomodating all heads but still some look more comfortable on some bodies shoulders than others.

The size of the head to body there does not look too far out and you could make it disappear completely with a different (longer) wig and moving the shoulders up a little (if they are shruggers) as part of the issue is the apparent length of the neck which accentuates the appearance of the head being out of proportion.

Also try using a black choker to help the difference in skin tone between the head and body disappear.

Melody's head would need no playing around with neck and shoulders on that body as her face is smaller even though the shell size is about the same (also WM heads such as 153, 314 and 355 would work well with that body).

Hope that helps a little and reasures that neither the head is too big nor the body too small. They're both exactly the size that they need to be
