Question Looks Familiar ?

These new Fire-Doll models, Maria and Jessie, appeared recently on a UK vendor website.

They are listed as 168 cm ( really ?? ).
Looks very like FD's version of the WM 160A, IMHO
FD do a few WM "clones" like the 168A ,166C and 157B.

As FD was established and is run by some WM ex employees, it's not surprising they may have learned a few things at WM.

No sign of the new models on FD website yet, but that's not uncommon for dolls to be never seen on the manufacturers website.
For instance CaiBin is nowhwere to be seen on Qita's website.

Hi Tommie,

thanks for sharing matey

No. I hadn't seen her marketed anywhere either.

Just did a side by side using a comparable images and I reccon that you are spot on.

I thought that FD had moved away from this silliness. Maybe its that their own models are not selling anyewhere near the level they had expected them to.

For me though its the WM 160A all the way. It may just be the comparative quality of the images but the Jinsan girl looks that little bit more shapely. If past history is anything to go on the FD will be 2kg more.... plus, the Jinsan girls don't have chains dangling out of their growlers

They have made a few recent copies like the 160A, the 172B and a few of the most popular new faces. Have been available in the EU for a few months now, now moved on to the UK.

It is sad, but this is nowadays the standard in the doll world. This and the copying of popular photoshoots with replicas of not only the dolls but the clothes, accessories and scenery as well. And it is no longer limited to just a few of the lesser known brands, more and more do it now as this strategy does it impossible to sue them for copyright violations - and it makes it easier for them to push the copy dolls.

The doll market is getting more fierce and desperate, and that results in some dirty moves by quite a few brands now.

I have one Fire-Doll, the 164D, but I deliberately went for one that is not a Jinsan copy.

If I want a Jinsan, I'll buy a genuine Jinsan! The main problem with Jinsan is which one do you choose? There are just so many!

Oh, i won't be buying another Fire-Doll. Not convinced of the durability of the TPE in the stress areas.

For anyone who needs reminding what a real WM 160A looks like:

I know where my money would be going
