I'm confused, is the plan to put those dolls UP by £30 on Friday? All prices currently showing at £669.95.

Edit: you did!!! I have a screenshot from yesterday if anyone's interested.

Negative discounts are truly jawdropping. Especially with that crossed out over £1000 stuff. I thought we had laws against that sort of thing?

Heck, here it is anyway.

Not sure, but i think there was a miscommunication internally in the sales team regarding the price to offer. The prices are correct as they show on the offer.

Hello,

I see there's been some confusion about our Black Friday pricing, and I appreciate your vigilance! Let me clear things up.

The initial price was listed at £669.95 due to a typo, and we've corrected it to the intended discounted price of £699.95. Apologies for any confusion caused by the discrepancy.

Rest assured, this is still an incredible deal with one of the highest-ever discounts applied. The crossed-out £1000 was the original price, not an attempt to inflate discounts. we've been always selling at a discount, and for Black Friday, we're giving an additional markdown.

If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. Happy shopping!

Regards,
Neil Taylor

Consumer Protection Act 1987 Section 20.

My understanding is that the 'crossed out prices' have to be demonstrable to the court.

If the item in question has (in the last 30 days) not been sold at the crossed out price, this is a 'misleading indication' as per s.20.
