Default uk manufacture of dolls

Hi all,I am curious to know if there are any laws in the uk that prevent the munfacture of dolls of any kind,I did a quick search of the web but to no avail.I currently have a design and have built a mk1 skeleton that just needs some tweaks,I have a solution for alternating between slack and tight joints and that will be the next project hopefully this week, with a fabric body and silicone head fairly similar to happy doll/lip lop doll.
Smallest will be 160cm.
Thanks
Matt

Essentially no.

The essence of the Conegate case was that if an item could be manufactured legitimately in a EU member country it could be imported from another EU country. So the reverse is that because such items can be imported into this country there is de facto no prohibition of them being made in this country. 4 Woods are made in France and I think at least one brand might well be made in Germany.

So all power to your elbow

Best wishes

Harem

Cool

Good people to ask would be theatre/film prop makers and the mannequin makers in London..Sadly few films are produced in the U.k ...but it would fall into two categories..
Sex toys or adult toys and Mannequins...
There are no archaic Christian laws that prevent recreating someones likeness ie..casting a doll...idol worship
But there might be safety laaws to consider..regards to materials and flammability....things like that...
Check gov sites thoroughly...
And make sure if someones limb gets stuck in an orifice you cannot be sued!!#

Hi all I hope everyone is good.
Over the last couple of days I have tried my hand and sculpting with clay,I got some half price clay from the works art shop,
This stuff might be half price but I found It skinned over and was hard to rework without wetting with a wet flannel,it has been warm here though.I have some more detail work to do yet but i'm happy so far for a first time attempt. So a couple of pics,I hope they come out upright.

Hi ukdoll,i'm currently researching the possibility,i'm north lancashire.
The biggest expense maybe the fence around the workshop to keep the feminists out
A little more progress,I changed the nose on the second pic.

A bit too far away. Nevermind.

The head looks a bit too much like Paul Weller, but keep trying.
