Usually down to it having an issue with the pic.

I see that if I upload one that's just a bit to big for it to handle on resize of in actual file size.

I don't normally use the forum Albums, but for a test I just tried a photo
1024 x 800 @ 411kb and works fine

well not sure ,biggest file size is 525 kb, is that too big?

I reduce all my pic's down to 900 pixels in height as well .

It is most probably 500kb limit I have tried one at 480 kb although that is only 1000 x 750 and that work fine..
another photo at 506kb came up with the error.

Well it seems to be file size; Maximum File Size per Picture 250.0 KB

Funny all my photos I have uploaded before are larger file sizes but it would appear they are resized on adding to upload.

Pictures will be automatically resized to fit within these constraints if possible. However, you may receive better results by doing it manually.

so there you have it ,it would appear not to be resizing automatically

Will try and find out how to reduce kb sizing, google here I come ! .

yet the last pic I uploaded (earlier tonight) was 1.29Mb and just off 1200x1800 and uploaded fine

Well thanks for the replies, as said it would appear to be some glitch perhaps on the auto resizing ,way beyond my comprehension of computer stuff.

Cheeky this but I hope its OK to link to my album at ODC, the photo's seem to show up OK in the thread ?

I can't see the problem with that, others members do the same through other external sites.
