those are some nice bikes,

I guess you like your Harleys eh?, in case you couldn't tell I'm a BSA fan

that armstrong is the closest I've ever been to owning a Harley as HD bought the design from CCM & started making them as a 350

I have a few others another, ridgid D1 bantam in trials trim & a few modern ones

I did have a royal enfield bullet 500 but it got destroyed when a bunch of kids tried to pinch it but couldn't get it away so they set fire to it after smashing it up with a sledge hammer

The BSA are nice, I love the old triumph as well

very nice,

I didn't realise H/D ever did right foot shift,

all of my bsa's are converted to hand change now

I'm not a big fan of Triumph, I find they all look the same,

they did that a s a deliberate ploy to garner brand loyalty, hoping that if you like one you will like them all

unfortunatley it also works the other way if you don't like one...

I find they look out of proportion the tank is too small & the seat would put most serf boards to shame,

You are right but is worked for honda in the day. they made there bike look alot like a Triumph. the thing with the Triumph in the US they where excepted in the biker comunity. where Jap bikes where not. till late 70.
("you meet nice people riding on a honda") HAHAHAAHAH

Triumph's where choped like H/D in the 60s if I am not mistaken in the years

hehehe i know what you mean about how japanese bikes went down in the states

a friend of mine got some US bike magazines at a local car boot sale & in one of them was a rite up of the best thing to do with a Yamaha RD 350

there was a bunch of good ol' boys who peppered it with shot gun blasts then pushed it off a cliff in to a quarry

I thought it was pretty funny, but my mate had bought the magazines because he had one & saw the RD on the cover but didn't look at the article untill he got home,
