Default The music thread

I've seen one of these threads,on most forums, they're usually very popular. There may even be one on here, but I can't find it? So if you want to talk, play or say anything about music, here's the place to do it.

To start it off, here's one, form one of my all time fave bands,I hadn't heard it for a while, but Wulfie posted it wth his ace thread, thanks for both the thread and the song Wulfie, and I just had to play it again. Jim Morrison at his best...

The Doors - Riders on the storm.

Ha ha, but such good scribblings Wulfie. You chose a great number as well .

I'll probably fill this thread in in just one day!! So despite playing a lot of stuff, I'll just post bits and pieces of my selections.

The best of today is one of my all time fave bands Pink Floyd and IMHO the best live version, of the classic, Comfortably Numb. Featuring one of the best guitar solos ever.

Default Bring Back The 70s/80s!

It was cool music in those days. You had all types of great music iike Queen, Kate Bush, David Bowie, ELO, through to George Benson, Shakatak and the New Romantics!

Chas and Dave whew, you missed the ultimate, lynyrd skynyrd, Stones, 10cc, Todd Rundgren, Hot Tuna, tickets 5, 5 of us in a Mini Cooper, you didn't sit under the trees in the shade because of golden showers from the occupants above and you didn't stand up when the bands were on because of flying bottles and cans. A superb day and night.

One of my faves and a bit of an all time classic that one "Free Bird" Wulfie.

Me and my mates were doing our "man about town" thing when all the modern romance stuff was going on Loverboy, those artists bring back some really good fun memories, unfortunately a few minging awful hangovers a well!!

One of my all time fave numbers from G N' R November Rain.....
