Default is www.doll4sale.com/ a scam site?

Placed an order there in late August, said they would send email when dispatched>>>no dispatch email....contacted them the other week, and they said it would be sent last week>>>no email saying it had been dispatched.

A German site.

Hi, WaddleThere .
Just had a look at the doll4sale.com website and, while it doesn't seem to be a scam site, by looking at a couple of TrustPilot reviews, it is made clear in one reply that placing an order on the doll4sale.com site means that your order is delivered direct from China.
(There is an associated (main) site: www.realdoll4me.com, where all dolls are imported into Germany and then sold on from there.)
Not much help for you, I'm afraid. Hope that your doll turns up soon.

OK, I did not know them until now, but I did a standard check on their website, using nothing but common sense which turns out a bit mixed, but mainly positive:

They are an UG company, which means they only need one Euro/Pound/Dollar to start that company. German GmbH (like Ltd.) would be better, offering as security of 25k€ and up.

The rest is all good imo: Real postal address, phone number, Tax ID, a real person's name in the Impressum as well - all that looks excellent to me.

To sum it up: No experience here, but what I found on their website looks mostly like solid business.

Other opinions to back me up or contradict?

EDIT: Let me contradict myself: I just had a look at the dolls. I would not call it a scam straight away, but since when are Real Dolls made from TPE? Potential buyers beware!

Take TrustPilot with a pinch of salt, particularly positive reviews close together.

Scammers don't have the patience to spread out their home made positive reviews and they stick out a mile. They are more concerned about positive numbers than realistic time frame postings.

Ok, the doll did turn up the other day, so from the I would say it wasn't a scam site.

Not quite sure if the doll was exactly the one in the picture, but it seems ok.

There was never any follow up email telling me the item had been dispatched, or anything like that; it just turned up via UPS.

I don't really think these dolls are quite for me, so if anyone wants my one...

Man, these dolls are heavy...!

Great that she turned up.

What doll is she? Price? It would be nice to see a photo or two.

Chances are if she's different to that pictured she'll be likely to be a fake made by an obscure factory turning out copies . . . but as long as the TPE is OK, doesn't tear, not oily, not smelly, then she'll give someone some inspiration in life.

Best wishes

By the way, that site is SCAM!

They are foul in calling every doll "Real Doll" and they are selling dolls using Mandos' photos for WM at way under the price available to vendors which means they are selling fakes.

A site to be shunned like the plague

Best wishes

Harem
