Cheers CG.

Cheers needadreamgirl, glad you are getting along fine with the stand and finding it easy to use and assemble. Your MD head mount is on its way in the post so hopefully we will see your MD doing some standing up pics very soon, just hope the bracket fits.

You'll need to thank Izzy as well because it was her that gave me the plans years ago for the E.I.C (Easy Izzy Crane) which your stand was based on.

She told me what she wanted and inspired me to build something that could easily handle her weight and save my back at the same time, soon after the E.I.C was born.

It was originally intended for dressing and undressing, but also worked out great for standing up shots.

Izzy certainly enjoys using it.

My AD girls also enjoys using it and if you get used to a photo editor such as Gimp you can digitally eliminate the stand from the photo.

Thanks

I hope you are making good use of the stand and now your MD has the head hook she can also enjoy the benefits of it. Would love to see photos of your Brigitte using it at some point as well.

I recently received my Mechadoll and built my stand using iron pipe.. Which can be easily found at any hardware store..
Its a pretty simple design.. And much like the Camp stand.. But taller and modified for a Mechadoll, Doll Sweet or TPE..
It was very easy to build...

nice stand just be very careful pipe has good vertical strength but the threads make it weak in the horizontal direction. i worked in the heating business for years and saw a lot of pipe fail at the threads so be careful not to leave her alone too long.

Thanks for the heads up CG!! I'll definitely keep an eye on it.. Fortunatly I never had that prodlem happen to any of the stands I've built over the last 4 years..
