Default Doll House Phil is on the radio

At 22:30 on BBC Radio Asia. Going to have a listen in a moment, thought some others might be interested in it.

Here's hoping it goes well!

Thanks!
I listened to it.

I was surprised again about the women who combine dolls + men with rape and wonder for what reason men buy dolls.
Never heard of men calling women rapists or paedophilic because they use small sex toys or dolls.

It's women like them with wrong accusations or taking men to the cleaners who make many men buy dolls.

I wasn't surprised, the feminist spewed quite a lot of fairly standard tripe whilst Phil kept his calm self very respectable whilst delivering good counterpoints where necessary.

It'd be interesting to see the end results of the interview.

Thumbs up

Many thanks for the recognition.

Graham threw some congrats my way on Twitter for that, so we started talking.
Turns out he didn't know that we are both Geordie boys, so it's a small world.
He did say that it sounded like a hit piece but turned out well.

You get used to being treated like a social leper as a doll vendor, and the interview was only too quick to imply that doll ownership would be 'unhealthy' - but I am simply waiting them out, as dolls are becoming more popular, and more mainstream.
#MeToo is making doll popularity leap forwards also, so an indirect thumbs up to feminism there

From the sounds of it it sounds like that would be rather depressing to listen to :/ I'll probably give it a miss, but that's a shame.

Is this available to listen to anywhere else?

I don't see it on the asian network page but it sounds interesting

That was well handled by Phil. My problem with the feminists view is that I think the majority of people are able to see the line between fantasy and reality. If the whole coversation was about video games, it would almost be be the same as arguing that any game that allows you to do something to a non player character, that somebody somewhere in the real world wouldnt want done to them, should not be allowed as the player might (or in her argument 'will') start to think its ok to run around doing it to everybody in real life. Im sure there will always be exceptions but for the most part if it makes your life more enjoyable and causes no harm to anybody else, be it a love doll or grand theft auto, I for one dont see the problem
