Yes, TPE glue is a bit more complicated than dissolving TPE in Xylene.

If you do not want to use the manufacturer-supplied TPE glues (e.g. for safety reasons), there are currently two commercially available alternatives:

1) Technicoll 9545

2) Loctite 406

Both are based on Cyanoacrylate, like nail glue or crazy glue, but
blended for elastic materials like TPE.

Do *not* use super glue or crazy glue on TPE dolls as it becomes hard when cristallizing.

just a question aren't pocket pussys made of silicone instead of TPE? if so you might need a different glue for silicone.
