The majority of human hair wigs are permanently dyed. The colour will last a very long time. Because it's human hair, it can be dyed. But be wary of black, either starting out with or dying to. It works out as hard work to change the colour from black and may end up damaging the hair. Semi-permanent dyes can be used, which eventually wash out but not completely.

You can treat them much like your own hair; wash with regular shampoos and conditioners, comb them normally, stile with the same tools people use. They are much easier to comb tangles out of, but you can get split ends if you are not careful.
Most of all they feel much nicer when you run your fingers through your dolls hair.

Much easier to style and easier to control those stray hairs that, with a synthetic wig, get stuck to foreheads.
