Default Tessa and her Montesa

Tessa and her Montesa
The link on this photo goes to her topic on the Doll Forum.

(I posted photos of Tessa already in my Doll Teashop topic, but I guess she should have her own topic here.)

I took these three photos today (early March 2018):

The original Kick Start, although a bit artificial, was good, but Junior Kick Start seemed a bit naff to me. Ironically, the latter was far more popular with the viewing public. (There is something I find disturbing about that.) Mick Andrews, the European champ, left the program when the BBC wanted more crashes. Peter Purves (I believe I spelled that correctly!) carried on as presenter without him.

I have attached a photo of 11-times British champ Sammy Miller in about 1973 practicing a mile from where I live. He is riding a 250cc Bultaco Sherpa, which together with the 250 Ossa (I had one) was the rival to the Montesa Cota 247 (that Tessa is riding here in 1/9th scale -- the Protar kit). All three were Spanish bikes.

Trials riding has now become ridiculous:
