So I have been out and bought clothes for Lucy in real shops.

I know a lot of you order online but I would be in a predicament, if they arrived while I was out. Especially seeing as they wouldn't be packaged like tools or computer parts, which is all I usually order :24

The first shop I went into, I went right on over to the ladies section, no hesitating.
And kept going. Right on through to the men's.
But then I thought, what the hell!
Just do it!
So I did.

And once I relaxed and realised everyone else in the shop was in their own little bubble and didn't care less who I was, or why I was buying clothes to fit a petite framed lady, I was fine. The old lady in the charity shop's face was a picture, mind you! I felt like leaning across the counter and whispering who I was actually buying them for... :24

So I got Lucy a 34D bra which fits okay, seeing as she is supposed to be a 32E.
What do you think?
The size 6 knicks are a perfect fit though.
And only £2!
Thank god for sales!

Ha ha, I laughed out loud st Sam's reply, but your come back made me spit out my wine! Brilliant :b

On the subject of shopping, this always comes up, and there's a thread over on TDF at the moment about how embarrassing it is to buy clothes for your doll

Seriously, WTF! Nobody gives a flying fcuk about guys shopping for lingerie anymore, and if anyone does ask what you are doing, just say you're looking for a gift for your gf. Especially at this time of year with Valentine's day around the corner :)

To be honest, you can have a lot more fun if you have your girls measurememts memorised, or even on a peice of paper and just walk up to the hottest sales girl and ask for some help picking out something. You'd be surprised how willing they are to help and give free fashion tips and advice :)

For those that are a little more adventurous, tell the sales girl you are a photographer and looking for things for a photoshoot. I guarantee they'll ask to see some of your pics. Thats when I show them my instagram account. Most of the time they don't even realise Kayla is a doll. Those that do are more curious than judgmental and that's when things get interesting

Give it a try, don't be embarrassed, they'll love the attention and the fact you appreciate their advice.

I had a good rummage through the size S desses in the charity shops. Some real bargains.

Quite enjoyed it. Thing is, I hate shopping for mens clothes. Usually just grab whatever looks like it will fit.

While I am at it, did you know the pound shop do big tubes of water based lube? Or a box of 12 condoms for, you guessed it, a pound! Theres the other side of doll life taken care of!

I discovered this recently too and if you're finding it hard to be hard then they also now sell cock rings and the vibrating rings just for that extra buzzzzzz:rolleyes:

A friend of mine bought one of their cock rings out of curiosity.
It was too tight though.
Apparently.

There's something about proper briefs that gets me going... and a full cup lace bra. Showing my true colours now... lol.

Proper briefs?
I guess we're just old-fashioned because I can't help thinking women were more beautiful in the past and what with frilly knickers and the girls doing PE at school in navy blue serge - well it must have got into my soul.

As for shopping - brazen it out; I told a nosy assistant once ; "Its for my mistress; she's very young!"

I know what you mean about the briefs. I has to be an older-guy thing.

It's like the availability of porn. This used to be a sacred, sacred thing. Something you found in the woods or in your dad's wardrobe. It was NEVER taken for granted. Once you found a stash of Razzle or Men Only, your summer holiday afternoon's were taken care of...

if you have your girls measurements ... on a peice of paper

That's what to do. Tell them you are buying for her birthday; or you are on an errand/ under orders to buy for a disabled female relative.

A friend of a friend owned a clothing factory in South Africa. He would go into UK shops and, without batting an eyelid, buy women's clothes in industrial quantities, to take back to SA for copying.
