It is not the normal makeup but kind of painting fixed IN the material. So don't worry about the duribility.
In another point of view, we won't do something tampery, scracthing your attention and then disappointing you. That's totally silly, isn't it?

Hips (or lack of) and legs are too manly, not enough "womanly" curvature and not pronounced enough. As usual, since the fingers are the same fragile, lazy design, i doubt they'd last a week before breaking, unless you have a secret ?

The legs are a bit athletic and that's ok i guess, but the hips just don't seem to have enough of a womanly look. It might be the waist that does it, too straight ?
Look at image # 1924 and compare with other dolls about the same height from other doll sites.

What I need is just some casual expression. So don't be shy.
The tridimensional muccle line is some great detail of the leg, quite athletic, just as you say. It is much better than a pair of smooth, flat legs going straightly down, isn't it?
So do other parts. I consider the manly looking you mentioned and disliked is the lines I am just saying. Wemen also have muccles but they are not quite visual. Some tridimensional body lines tell that she is healthy, energetic and young which makes you playing with her enthusiastically.
