Newbie body size/clothes question

Hi Folks

So as a newbie waiting for WM162 E 273 what sizing are clothes for dolls around 162- 173 , I noticed posts saying kids size clothes, but a 162 doll is approximately 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 9 inches!
So I'm assuming the size of my 162 will be about the size of a petite woman about 5 feet 4...which is quite average size for a woman...am I wrong on this thinking.

breast size influences what will fit. My girls from YL151C to WM 166C wear Primark XS (in some cases Primark XXS).

Hips and arse affect what jeans will fit them. I always buy white stretchy jeans (again from Primark).

Same rules apply to dolls as women. If they ask you whether their arse looks big in this, lie!

Tommo might be the best one to talk to about an H cup. Most of my girls are A to C with two larger girls. one a DD and one an E. Thats as bigs as I've gone though as large breasts don't suit Elves.

For shoes size 3 is generally a safe bet. You may bget them into sizes 2 through 4 but for their comfort best to stick with 3.

There's a 162F, also a 163H. You know vendors though, they make the letters up half the time, lol.

I'm still waiting for someone to pick me up on saying that I have a WM 163E (it's legit! :D)

That 162E is a bloody nice body and not a bad weight at all (35kg).

Most dolls I have seen has 22cm size feet which works out to a size 2UK 34EUR shoe size. Best to get a 2 or 2.5 size to save on squishing her toes. :)

Chloe and Kacey has some size 2 and some 2.5.

The WM162E is shorts bra XS and that fits nice and tight, bra I think she's a 32D I will check later, I actually have my 162E wearing a 34D just because its's a really nice one, but a little too loose, if you can get hold of 2xs for knickers they fit well if you keep them on her hips, her waist quickly goes thin.

Heather my WM162e actually wears size 1 or 33 although I have size 13 - 2 for most of my dolls depending on what is in the sales, if the shoe or boot's have heels, and slip on rather than tie, try to get a slightly smaller size, because the foot will slip forward and may cause damage to the toes.

Best bet, buy a tape measure and go from there, expect to learn about sewing my dude, it's a pastime worthwhile for doll owners

The WM162E that you are asking about is a fits in a 32D I have just tried several on her, however these are underwire bras and I remove the wire.

I bought a lot of clothes that i ended up taking to the charity shop as they didnt fit. Id say get some pyjamas and maybe soment shirts and leggings in about a size 6 just so she has something to wear. Once she is here you can measure her properly.. And then you can learn the mystical art of bra sizing. My emma is supposed to be a c cup and she wears a 28d. Its all part of the fun of having a doll
