This manufacturer has a bad reputation. I'm curious. When was the last time anyone here bought a new doll from them?

Never bought from them.
Got mine second hand ... if a Mechadoll at all.
Might even be a "Maidlee" ? Not sure.

Mecha and Maidlee are WAY different. MyPartyDoll (MPD) was the other manufacturer that was identical to Mecha (used the same molds) and that was the Leeloo body only. MPD has been gone for more years than I can remember (10+?). But they were well made (and weighed 90-110 - a tank). If my 2007 4woods is any indication, well-made platinum dolls can last a LONG time.

Hi tdf....

You could be right, I never checked very carefully.
I will post updated pictures soon and of course go through the websites of both Mechadoll and Maidlee.
It was that I recently saw a picture flying by that my Magdalena looked so much like her that I (wrongly) assumed a connection.
More to investigate on my part and will keep you posted....with some HOT ... VERY HOT pictures, my friend! :whistle::D

But many thanks for pointing this out.
Last thing I want is someone to get a wrong idea of the dolls as there are so many to choose from and oh so many look alike.
